Delete Your Account

Delete your account anytime from within the Ruh app:

1. Open the Ruh app and go to your profile (the Me tab).
2. Tap the settings (gear) icon.
3. Scroll to Delete account and follow the confirmation steps.

Your account enters a 30-day grace period during which it is deactivated and hidden from other people. If you change your mind, just sign back into the app within those 30 days to restore your account.

After 30 days, the following are permanently deleted: your profile, reviews, ratings, comments, likes, direct messages, private lists, and photos you uploaded.

A few things are kept so other people aren’t affected: collaborative lists and groups you created are handed to their other members rather than deleted, and catalog entries (the movies, places, and products themselves) remain in Ruh’s shared catalog. Anonymized, aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be retained.

Some information may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
